Chapter Meeting - Arkansas Chapter 514 Trout Unlimited IN BENTONVILLE
All TU Members, guests and other conservation-minded outdoor enthusiasts are invited to join us for Arkansas Chapter 514’s (ARTU) first Chapter meeting after the summer break. We will meet on Monday, November 5, 2018 in BENTONVILLE.
Our program will be presented by Matt Millner, owner and operator of Rising River Guides, a premier fly fishing guide service on the White and Norfork Rivers, based in Cotter, Arkansas. Matt will discuss “Fly Fishing Tactics through the Seasons.”
Matt grew up in Memphis, TN and started fly fishing at a young age with his father. By the age of nine Matt was comfortable with a fly rod. Their home waters of Arkansas would eventually turn into the place Matt cut his teeth. With his diverse background in guiding, Matt has developed quite the arsenal of tricks. He guided for several seasons in Alaska on the Iliamna Drainage. He then guided for ten years in northern central Arkansas, fishing the White, Norfork, Little Red and Dry Run Creek. He also spent several years guiding in Colorado on the Yampa, Colorado and Roaring Fork.
Plan to join us at the Whole Hog Café in BENTONVILLE, AR(1400 SE Walton Blvd, #46, Bentonville, AR 72712, behind Krispy Kreme Donuts). Dinner and social hour starts at 6:00 p.m. followed by the program at 7:00 p.m. All TU members, guests and anglers are welcome.
